We visited here on a Friday in March. It has a nice informative visitors center. The way it is set up with the style of building and the natural vegetation out front makes it look run down but it is not. We walked about a mile on the trail along the creek and then returned. We enjoyed our walk and... More

In town on business for a day and was looking for a place to walk/hike. This was certainly a great find. I decided to do the entire loop, i.e. from the Nature center, over to the the Redings Mills bridge, across the river, to the other bridge and back. The trails on either side of shoal creek has very different... More

Wildcat Glades has a very nice Audubon Center with gift shop, great wildlife displays and information about the local plants, animals, trees, etc. There are great hiking trails and beautiful scenery! There is picnic areas and the whole place is great for families with kids!

Wildcat Glades has lots of events throughout the year for various age groups. There's also many walking trails as well. Our favorite event is the water festival in August with the duck and cardboard boat races.Any time we go there are lots of small wildlife and native plants and the inside of the building has nice exhibits.

The wildcat glades area is very fun, I live within a 5 minute walking distance from the trail that starts at low water bridge, then I take that trail to Wildcat glades. The trails are safe and clean, and the Audubon center is beautiful. There is a wonderful little aquarium there with some big fish. The would be perfect to... More

With four kids, I love to come here to romp around on the trails, explore nature, and learn in the nature center. Those things are all free and open to the public. The nature center has a bathroom and water fountain. Some trails are stroller friendly. There are several picnic tables in a shaded area near the parking area. My... More

Trails with a lot of close undergrowth. Possibility of snakes. Those not concerned with that would probably enjoy it very much.

This place is beautiful. It is right on the river and has a beautiful hiking trails. Great for young kids and teenagers too. Also, there are great exhibits inside you can check out if you get hot on the trail! Great place to get your kids off the video games and out enjoying nature.
