Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Richmond Village Farmers market is a small quaint market held every Saturday in the village of Richmond. It's a fab place to visit if you are into viewing or buying local produced fresh food.

Not very big but has some nice things you may not see elsewhere. Richmond itself is gorgeous and well worth a visit

We were lucky enough to be in Richmond on Saturday morning and get to this market. It is small but very interesting. Inside the village hall there are various craft stalls with a wide variety of goods and outside there are vegetables and some other food available. Good source of those small gifts with the handmade touch. Ample car parking nearby. Most definitely worth a stop ! Everyone was very friendly and helpful and pleasant way to pass an hour or so !

On a flying visit to Richmond come across the market which in a small space gave a taste of Tasmania. Didn't buy but the stall holders engaged with you regardless.

We weren't there on market day, but Richmond village drips with history for its small antiques shops full of memorabilia of days gone by. Few relaxation places and the oldest bridge in Australia!

Went last weekend and were not impressed. Small number of stalls and very expensively priced. Only a couple of stalls outside selling vegetables.
Parking is free but it's worth going if you were already planning on visiting Richmond. I wouldn't make a special journey for the market.

Great little market that had all you need for that little taste of Tassie gift. A good variety of products to browse.

Markets were thriving at the time we stopped in Richmond. Beautiful village. Locals very friendly. You must try the sausage sizzle from the Irish guys - "sausages are the best, jokes are the worst". Funny but true! Walked across the road to the ice-cream and chocolate shop which was a sweet finish to our visit. Do not detour from Richmond - must see!

I love a good farmers style market, but this one is absolutely rubbish. Firstly, it is quite hard to locate, Secondly, it has very few exhibitors and is just a waste of time going to it.
