Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was part of a group tour so I had to come here. But, I got to see some elonagated skulls(cone heads); not they are not aliens from outer space but some type of ritual practiced long time ago.. The people drilled holes in the skull to relieve the pressure from a head injury. If you are into historical things, you may enjoy this place. The museum is rather small so you can walk through it within a hour.. They do have clean bathrooms.

The intention was there, to educate or inform the public or tourist of history and the formation of the site. It was too modern and very few artifacts to impress me. It is also very small. It costs 15 soles to enter. Well, it is a start to learn about the history of the area.

This is a joke of a place. The Paracas culture happens to be one of Peru's keystone cultures with a phenomenal heritage in pottery and textiles. But this museum is a joke. We walked in and out within 10 minutes (including the toilet break) with long faces. Best go to the Museo Antropologico in Lima to get a true look at this amazing culture before you spend any time in this rather empty building

I only visited the archeological museum, not the building with info. about the reserve, for lack of time.
The site gave a nice overview of early cultures in the region. There was information about skull trepination and deformation, and pottery and textiles. All quite nice, but then I have seen all these aspects in other museums around Nasca, Cusco, and Lima too.

The visit of the Museo belonged to our one day trip: we had 20 minutes to get through. The museum is very interesting. One should have a bit more time.

Nice little museum. It is at the exit of the reserve, a nice place to complement some of the history of the Paracas. It has remains of its culture
