I would not do this hike without a guide. It is very dangerous to get to the trail head and then the hike is on private land. Mexitreks is an amazing company who gives back to the locals and local non-profits and are extremely knowledgeable about everything! Our guide new all of the flora and fauna and was able to... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our Mexitreks kayak tour! Our guide was very informative and fun. Everything was well organized and safe. How cool to be kayaking in the ocean in Mexico! So beautiful. It was an easy tour, double kayaks for those who preferred. The beach we stopped at to snorkel was beautiful. As an added bonus our guide took us... More

Had a great trip with Steve as our guide. He was very knowledgeable about local flora, fauna and culture. Even the teenager ranked it as one his best hikes. Highly recommend!!!!

My family of 4 did the Mexitreks kayak tour with Arturo as our guide. It was a lovely day. The kayaks are pretty simple and we didn't paddle anything crazy. He took us to a small, private beach where we did some body surfing in the gentle waves. Really nice sandy bottom. We also hiked up to a look out... More

Our family of 4 (two in their 60's, two in their 20) went on a half day excursion/hike up to the top of Monkey Mountain with Steve from Mexitreks. Steve is a very knowledgeable guy who offers this hike in a laid back and careful fashion. We were picked up at the Sayulita plaza and Steve drove us through the... More

I went on the Monkey Mountain Tour with two other friends. Steve was our guide and was great! The tour started in the morning and we ended in the early afternoon, still having the whole day left to be at the beach. It was a amazing way to start the day. The hike itself was full of different kinds of... More
