Great, small exhibit of Missouri reptiles

This place is rather tough to find and most all the specimens are in bins and cages in one small room. Given the fact that Columbia is rather limited for places like this to visit it is worth the look, but don't go expecting to see a museum quality exhibit.

There are some interesting turtles and a salamander or two. A very large Alligator Snapping Turtle makes the visit worth it by himself -- he's huge! This is a great... More

A wide variety of exhibits, my grandkids loved it and it was a great learning experience for them. Me. I am not a fan of snakes but the rest was well worth it. Great way to spend a afternoon.

It is in a small room, but very interesting and if you get there on Fridays at 9:30 AM you can watch them eating small white mice, my grandsons loved this part...actually I did too. For free it is a great place to... More

I've taken grandkids here for many years. They enjoy the snakes, etc and spend at least an hour observing them. Certainly not a world class reptile museum, but a nice place to take grandkids on rainy days.Located on the MU campus.l
