This is a great place to stop and read about history while enjoying the scenery. It is a quite, off the beaten path place were a person can take some great pictures.

after you visit Carthage town and the local civil war museum stop by the historic site. small parking lot, signage explains the battle and some picnic tables are there. not a big site but after the museum you see the whole picture.

A car park with an information board. The site has no other interesting features. More knowledge can be gained from the Internet. Of value to historic and Civil War enthusiasts. Otherwise pass it by.
