We went to the quilt show and it was very interesting. The ladies who were working were very knowledgeable about the quilts and we also saw old maps of Carthage

Preserving the documents and artifacts of the Powers family is just the beginning. Powers Museum brings in many great travelling exhibits, quilt shows, etc. as well as being a great resource for historians and genealogy buffs.

It was small but interesting. Actually enjoyed the tiny gift shop the most. It had unique items that were educational links to history. I bought several for the grandchildren.
