The cable car company Meiringen-Hasliberg operates a summer and winter sports resort in the Bernese Oberland, ranging from 600 up to 2500 m asl. Every year, we transport over half a million people to the sun in the mountains, where they explore sports, culinary and alpine culture. The Haslital holiday region is located in Switzerland between Interlaken and Lucerne in the eastern Bernese Oberland. The valley is nestled between the passes Brunig, Grosse Scheidegg, Susten and Grimsel. Family-friendly, varied leisure and sports facilities, but also the awareness of tradition and cultural characteristics, are the characteristics of an impressive holiday region in the heart of Switzerland.

Stayed in Meiringen with the kids (10 and 12), for 3 full days of skiing. This area is stunningly beautiful and ideal for beginners. Plenty of nursery slope space and a few wide blue slopes to transition on to. Enough additional skiing higher up for more experienced skiers, although this is a relatively small ski area. No queues and plenty... More

The area is not that big but the surroundings are beautiful. From a skiing point of view I thought this was a irregular set up. Many runs require either high speed runs at the end to be able to make it to the lift again, and sometimes that is impossible altogether and your skis or board will have to come... More

Came to Hasliberg to go sledding not skiing. Amazing experience. Well groomed trail of near 10km length. Sleds available at the top for nominal rental fee. Have not laughed so hard in years. Was an absolute blast! We will make a point of returning to sled for several days.

Wonderful area to enjoy whether walking, hiking, strolling whatever. The different alpine lifts can take you up to the Alpen Tower and enjoy great hiking with cow and sheep bells softly clanging in the distance. Such a peaceful place.

WOW - there is nothing that is NOT spectacular about this area. I stayed here for a week and did so many of the things that are available in this area. I have to say that we stayed in Wasserwendi and there is spectacular views EVERYWHERE! I highly recommend!

If you stay in Hasliberg, you are very central from a lot of sightseeing. Only 30 minutes from Ballenberg Museum, Meiringen, Aareschlucht, Brienzersee... And there are such a lot of things to do and to see! In Hasliberg there are two mountain railways which are going up and lead to a lot of wonderful hikes. With small children I recommend... More

Very quaint town. Let's you get a great feel of the Swiss life. Gorgeous views of the Swiss Alps. The people are very friendly. Very quiet and peaceful. There are a few restaurants but not much else. Also everything is closed on Sunday. Recommend taking the cable car to the Alpen Tower.
