We talk 4 13 year old boys there for a birthday outing. There are some outside interactive activities that the boys enjoyed, that was fun. Once inside we bought our tickets. The folks working there are all great. Our tour guide was a college student and very informative about the cavern. The cavern is beautiful inside and the information interesting.... More

To begin I want to thank you for the compliments that you shared in your review. It was nice to hear that your college-aged tour guide was "very informative about the cavern". We were also encouraged by your comment "there are all great" regarding our staff. About the cave being wet, you are correct when you said that the cavern... More

Our tour was a private one, as we were the only ones there at the moment. It was the first cave experience for our two children (ages 4 and almost 3), who did great on the tour. Our tour guide was very nice and involved the kids with the use of his flashlight occasionally. Great experience.

This cavern is so different than the others in this are. They have an extensive rock shop even have a area where people can slush for precious and semi precious stones. You buy a bag of sand/dirt and stones and "mine " for the stones like the gold diggers did. The staff is very knowledgeable about the cave and the... More

The cave itself has some beautiful formations. However no one warned us we were going to be dripped on continually. It was a rainy day when we came but no one told us the cave continually drips. The stairs were extremely narrow, steep and were standing in water. The guide was funny and informative. The light show wasn't enjoyable at... More

Thank you for taking time to leave a review of your recent visit to Talking Rocks Cavern. It was encouraging to hear you describe your cave guide as being funny and informative. I want to specifically address your comments about being continually dripped on during your cave tour. When it rains, some rainfall will eventually seep through cracks and crevices,... More

We loved the tour and the guide was very thorough. It took about an hour and well worth it! I recommend it to anyone that likes this type of outing.

It may not stand to the grandeur of other large caverns and cave in the US, but it certainly has a natural touch to it - meaning no fancy artificial stuff and lighting to commercialize and buy tourist footfalls. Its about a 100 feet deep, has about 200-250 steps (100 down and 150 back up approx) and may not be... More

We really enjoyed learning all about the history of these caverns. It was very hard to hear so next time we will stick to the front of the line. There is a lot of steps to walk up and can be slippery. I do not recommend this for children under the age of 4. We had a toddler in our... More

After calling to make sure they were open we made the drive out to see the cave. We pulled up and the lady running the front said they decided to close early. It would've been nice if someone told us that when we called. What a waste of our time! We got there at 2:30pm and they were to close... More

We recently closed early for our staff Christmas party. However, this is a rare exception. Please accept my apology if our staff did not alert you to this when you called to ask if we were open. More

My husband and I have enjoyed visiting many underground caverns and this one did not disappoint us. If you are a fan of caverns don't miss this one.

We have a home three miles from this attraction. Our youngest granddaughter has visited Talking Ricks with us maybe six times. Our last visit allowed her to use the crawling maze, pan for precious stones, take the dave tour, and shop for treasures in the shop. It is one of her favorite spots. Friendly and professional guides and staff, reasonably... More
