I had been to fish hatcheries before but never saw a movie about the process. It was interesting and amazing how many fish they can produce in one hatchery!

Wouldn't you know the least expensive feature was the most memorable?!? The hatchery is fascinating, and the DNR staff is terrific! The kids loved the interpretive center, including the presentation and the two-headed snake!

We did not see a gift shop. There is an attendant inside the office to answer questions, etc. And there is a small room that shows a video / informative movie that plays every 30 minutes or so... But nothing to buy.
