We decided to stop, a group of 6 adults. The hatchery was fun and informative. Take some quarters so you can feed the fish! Recommend!

We were looking for some inexpensive activities to try while in Branson, and the hatchery was one of the suggestions. There is no fee to visit. The building at the entrance has some viewing tanks with the larger fish and one small tank of turtles...More

Want to go somewhere the kids will enjoy that's free?! It's really neat to see all the different tanks with the fish at different stages of maturity. The kids will really enjoy feeding the fish. Also have a great view of Table Rock Lake dam.

We homeschooled our 3 kids and went to the fish hatchery for science. It was great for the kids to see the various ages and stages as the fish developed, and then learn how the fish are taken to area lakes. Plus, they got to...More

Love to take the family out here. It's education, interesting, and budget friendly. Great way to spend several hours with the whole family.

To see all the exhibits in the building and then to walk between the ponds and see all the trout growing and feed them is so fun. The fact that it is free is a bonus. You also have an awesome view of Table Rock...More

Waaa would have like to seen this but we didn't get there until 4:50pm! They close at 5pm & I can only assume it is 5pm sharp! The attendant promptly told us they would be locking the gate in 10 minutes. But I can't blame...More

The fish hatchery is an educational experience for everyone. The indoor display is well done, and it's very interesting to see the fish in their various stages of growth in the ponds outside. Lovely location as well with so many kinds of birds in the...More

This place is right below the dam and it's free to go in. Bring a few quarters and feed the fish. Nice to see nature being developed and encouraged.

An hour, depending on attention span or subjuct interest. It may also be interesting to walk the river bank to see the fly fishermen fishing. Be aware of quickly rising river waters when the gates of Table Rock Dam are... More

We did not see a gift shop. There is an attendant inside the office to answer questions, etc. And there is a small room that shows a video / informative movie that plays every 30 minutes or so... But nothing to buy.
