Again, the waterways here are deceptive. This is a dammed river that meets the technical measurements of a lake so they call it that. Narrow, nothing to see, boring.

Lake Taneycomo is one of the most beautiful lakes I've seen. If you are camping nearby, bring your sweater (even in the summertime), it gets very cool by morning!

Great hiking trails, so quiet and peaceful, easily spend a full day enjoying the lake. Boaters, have lots of room, tubing was great.

This is also a beautiful lake with lots of activities to do for the individual or for families. The waters look so clear and inviting on a hot summer day.

It had been many years since we visited this area. It is still beautiful ozark area. We did a guide to go trout fishing but they changed the rule on the size of trout to keep so it was a lot of catch and release...More

This is a treasure for the area. Beautiful and well maintained. Many things to do for all types of people from just looking at the scenery to active water sports.

You can't miss seeing the lake if you come to Branson. Great opportunities for boating and fishing for brown and rainbow trout. The dam is an impressive sight.
