Loved seeing the vintage train. We were able to sit in the dome car and the view is exceptional. Two tunnels and imaging the train rides of the past was wonderful. The views as you travel are not spectacular just good ole' countryside, trees and...More

The train ride was a nice smooth ride and the distance was just right. Cost was approximately $30.00 reasonable and snacks available. Only thing I would have changed was the annoying music Frank Sinatra style and very loud. Nothing wrong with Frank Sinatra music at...More

Should have read the reviews (which we normally do) before choosing this. The mid-afternoon excursion was crowded (we were passengers 190-191), so we figured this was a going to be a worthwhile experience based on the crowd size. Apparently word of mouth hasn't spread that...More

We the afternoon train. We were able to get the dome seating. It is a 40 mile round trip ride. Two very cool tunnels are on the route. Enjoyed few hours.

We enjoyed our railroad trip. Sat in the dome car, hoping to see "the Ozarks." The foliage along the tracks was fairly close-by and solid green, so other than a few overlooks, there was no "scenic" in Branson Scenic Railway. The staff was polite ad...More

Beautiful scenery but not much different from car driving. Enjoyed the seating on this train--we had great comfortable seats behind food service car. Loading process was a little crowded because we had two bus loads of people in front of us. Great for families and...More

Enjoyed a nice relaxing lunch ride. We sat incar just before the concession car. Ate lunch while riding, on $6-7 including drink. Beautiful countryside with leaves turning colors.

They say to arrive 45minutes early as it is first come first served for seating. The platform was filled with people by 11:15 when we were supposed to start boarding. We did not start boarding until 1135. The vegetation was quite dense so the view...More

My wife & I took the Branson Scenic Railway excursion and it was disappointing from a scenery prospective. We sat in the top of a dome car and all we saw was rock outcroppings and trees flashing by for the most part. The only appreciable...More

When the term "scenic" is in the title, I expect to see something. Sadly most of what we saw were overgrown trees along the track! There are two brief spots where the trees part and you can see past them. This may be a more...More

We sat at a booth in the lower level cars. We found it more comfortable than the tables. Only real disappointment was the extremely loud Frank Sinatra kind of music throughout all the train ride.

Yes there are ramps and you can just roll right on. There are stairs going up to the dome, though since it is a bit tight, but I think that is the only "stairs only" place.
