Very interesting afternoon spent at this quiet site piecing together why the location needed to build a dam. We drove over the dam first and saw the wide area around the dam, both sides before driving around and down to the power site near the...More

The dam is pretty cool. But if you have seen other dams like hoover dam or dams in your state, it looks like a typical dam. It was okay

Nice free and scenic stop while in Branson. We enjoyed it and the visitor center. There weren’t many people there and it wasn’t too far off the strip. Worth a stop and a drive getting out of the touristy spots.

This is a very good family trip seeing how this very inersting dam was built near a beautiful and large lake and river. The visitor center is very good to see how all this came about.

Very large dam. We drove over it a couple of times and have seen it from the bottom as well. It is very impressive and is well worth a trip or drive by. I heard the fishing above and below is quite good as well.

Great visitor’s Center with beautiful views. Watch the short movie about how the dam was built. Lowe level exhibits are worth viewing.

We drove across the dam on the way to the showboat and it's size and engineering are impressive. The scenery both above and below the dam is worth the drive. The lake was dotted with boats.

Interesting to see. It's close to a fish hatchery, and the State Park. Great place for birding. There's also a natural stream close to the Dam that was neat to see.

This visitor center is "first class" and has information regarding the construction of the dam and the history surrounding the Table Rock Lake and dam. Will give you a lot of insight of the area. The staff is very nice and helpful.

The Branson area can be a hectic but enjoyable place to visit. This dam and the surrounding park offers just a quiet place to learn about the history of the dam and reservoir and allow you to unwind for a little while.

Yes anyway downstream of the dam. Artificial bait only. Right where the hatchery exits into Taneycomo is very popular.
