A highlight of the Silver Dollar City theme park, this constantly evolving wet limestone cave under the Ozark Mountains, dating back to the 1500s, provides a one-hour tour of fascinating rooms and passageways. The cave's entryway is the largest in the U.S.

Because it gets very hot in the Ozarks during July and August, I'd recommend a trip down to Marvel Cave. Not only is it cool, it's very, very interesting to see.

The cave is located inside Silver Dollar City and included with admission. The tour is an hour long and a little rigorous (lots of steps) but completely worth it. The views are breathtaking. So glad we took the time to do it.

Very good cave tour, good for all ages, though there are tight places and a lot of stairs. Get Tony as a guide. A lot of fun, especially if you can time during a rain shower and can't ride the rides.

The cave tour is included in your silver dollar City ticket price. We waited for about 45 minutes to get in. Tours depart every 30 minutes and don't take reservations. They say it is chilly, but I was more warm. You go down 500 feet...More

If you're visiting Silver Dollar City, you HAVE to do the FREE cave tour included with your admission. They leave every hour or so. It is such an interesting tour, beautiful display of nature at work.

This is a walking tour so make sure your legs are up for it. The tour guide was very informative and entertaining! The cave itself was amazing. Great tour!

This was our third visit to Silver Dollar City but the first time we toured Marvel Cave - which basically was the original drawing interest to the Ozarks, the foundation of Branson entertainment, and literally the first attraction of Silver Dollar City.

I'm sorry, but I don't know. They have a Lantern Light Tour that can start as early as 4:30pm (depending on when the park close, sometimes it's 5:30), so they might stop the regular tours before that particular one starts... More

If you mean accessible for those with limited mobility, unfortunately not. You must be able to go up and down fairly steep steps, through narrow spaces, around formations, etc. We held onto railings most of the time during... More

You can actually get into the cave for free. The cave is not owned by SDC. It is owned by Lake of the Ozarks college. You can do some paperwork and get in for free only the cave not the theme park.
