The original attraction at Branson, now a part of Silver Dollar City (free with park access), this cave provides a great semi-strenuous hour long hiking tour for all ages. The initial cave - entered from the roof through a series of stair flights, largest cave of its type in the US - floated 5 full size hot-air balloons in a... More

On your next visit to Silver Dollar City you MUST make time to visit Marvel Cave. Tours go every half hour so if the lines are too long for the shows jump into line for the Marvel Cave Tour. The tour takes you down 500 or so steps and back up 200 or so. Not for the claustrophobic or if... More

We decided to do the Lantern Tour of the cave since we had never been on one. This was also our first time going to Marvel Cave. You are given a reproduction LED lantern to take with you on the tour. I will say pay attention to the information before you take the tour--it does have a lot of steps... More

If your at Silver Dollar City it is worth the time. The cave is very cool! Kids love it and it is a very memorable place. It is a little bit of a hike but not to bad. I would go back again and bring family and friends.

It was fun touring the cave, but a workout going up and down the steps as they warn you an I walk a few miles every day. The pace is slow so you can take pictures and enjoy.I recommend it if you aren't afraid of heights or small spaces.

Tourists were coming to see this cave a hundred years ago. This cave has an amazing history that the guides tell you about as you walk trough the cave. Also do the lantern tour if you get a chance. There are smaller groups and you get to explore some extra parts of the cave. The regular tour is included in... More

You must be in fairly good shape to walk this cave and not suffer from claustrophobia. There are several very tight spaces and pitch black and one point in the walk. The cave is spectacular and the guided tour is Very interesting

I've experienced this cave many times, but is special to experience it the first time with my kids. The best thing is to view below at the top viewing area, then to see how the optical illusion grows and grows, as a visitor descends. Tour guides are well-equipped with the history of the cave, and it is very interesting. It... More
