We visited this past Saturday with our 2-year old granddaughter. So much fun on a beautiful day. The staff are all volunteers and are very friendly and informative. The gift shop was reasonably priced. Wish we had something like this closer. Take a stroll down the street and see the antique shops and cookie shop.

The Belton, Grandview, KC Railroad is like taking step back into history! Riding on their 1920's era coach car is awesome. They also have an old military flat car that has been outfitted with picnic tables for their ice cream social trains. Their staff are all volunteers which is amazing. If you are looking for a FUN, FAMILY oriented activity,... More

We went in the summer and it was a HOT day. I thought our reservations were ruined. Not so! We were served ice cream with a vast assortment of toppings! Loved it!

This was a lot of fun. It was rainy when we went, so we didn't get to do much outside, but they have a flatbed open air car with picnic tables you can ride on if the weather is nice. The ride is about 45 minutes long, and the train is run by volunteers. They are very knowledgeable and great... More

This is neat to drive aroung and look at. With a lot of shopping in the area too. I don't really know what all there is to do with the railroad, I will have to check it out. But it is fun to look at all the cars.

It was great when we went, no one was there had the trains all to ourselves took tons of pics. There was a guy there decorating the train for Christmas and he was kind enough to take us on a tour of them.

went from Warrensburg to Independence, MO. Smooth, uneventful ride, somewhat expensive food, nice familiar scenery.

I've taken my children on this when they were young, and now I get to take my grandchildren! This is definitely a memorable experience. Go when it's a nice day, as the train goes out for 30-45 minutes or so, stops, and you can get out and they have a little area for games, etc. Then you get back on... More
