Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Living locally, we decided to do the local night tour through the Children's forest with our kidlets...they were excited and the tour guide explained and pointed out the different animals as we went through...lovely to have such a great place locally

Whilst in the area today, I stopped in at the Baldivis Children’s Forest to check it out.

It’s a smallish sized forest in between houses on Mandurah Highway.

There is no parking inside the forest and you have to park outside the forest gates although there doesn’t seem to be enough parking depending how many individual families visit on a weekend.

The forest is a great educational area and seems to be designed and suited to primary school aged kids, and seems to be more suited to school groups than somewhere you’d go separate to a school excursion.

On my visit today, the toilets were locked even though the gates were open for pedestrian access.

Interesting to visit, free to enter, although not really a tourist attraction and out of the way for anyone wanting to visit. Suited to locals.

Spend a few minutes or a couple of hours bushwalking with the kids only minutes from Rockingham. Lots of local schools go here regularly and plant new trees and learn about the bush.

Children have helped to design this delightful short stroll through banksia and jarrah woodland. A large number of nesting boxes can be sighted way up in the trees and there are lots of lovely birds flitting about at all times. The kookaburras are such a delight and really numerous. There are plenty of informational signs and stories to read. A funny little playground near the excellent toilets is a good place for a rest and maybe a picnic. Sadly, it's not a place for anyone requiring wheelchair access or flat walking. The paths are wide and clear, but sandy and contoured

Great for a short bushwalk. We went with our young baby and his pram - a carrier would have been more appropriate. For the older kids there isn't much there. Would be great if there was a nice nature-inspired playground. There is a little outdoor ampitheatre and of course trees to climb.
