I really enjoyed this area. I stopped in some shops and learned even more about the area. The man in the shoe repair shop is a fountain of information, his shop has been there since the 1930s.

There are jewels on Farish street but the execution of the district's plan has been non existent. It reminds me of the neighborhoods up in the New England states. It takes $100.00 to get $10.00 worth of work done.

There is so much of historical Jackson tied up in this place, but they continue to let it fall apart, and you do not want to be anywhere near here around sunset for fear of your lie.

The city has been working on this area for over 20 years and it has never gotten a good group of businesses. Call it unfinished.
