While visiting relations in Jackson we visited this museum on a pumpkin day, not sure of the official name. The admission included a hay ride & a pumpkin. Our grandchildren had a great time. We also enjoyed the exhibits with the children being entranced by the elaborate train layout. We hope to return as it is hard to see everything... More

Very interesting museum to learn about Mississippi's Agriculture and Forestry. Great exhibit of tools. There is a little but of everything here. The model trains were a lovely surprise and fun to look at. Outdoor building were very nice and decorated for Fall. The staff were all very friendly.

We visited during the Celtic Festival, which ended up being worse than on a day with no special events. The displays in the main building were very interesting, including the history of different types of saw mills, crop dusting planes, and a huge model railroad.

The Mississippi Ag museum was a nice exhibit of Mississippi's agricultural past. They had a nice collection of old tractors, cars, and railroad paraphanelia, plus a great collection of farm tools and machines used in agriculture anywhere from the late 1800's through present day. The exhibits are interactive with lots of buttons to push to engage visitors. Outside the main... More

This is a nice way to spend a beautiful weather day. A must see its the fully operation train inside the building. There is a petting barn as well.

A great place to spend the day. A educational and fun experience. A wide range of things to learn about and an overall great experience. Everything from an old county store to a functional sawmill to crop dusters and everything in between. A true Mississippi Treasure.

We went to the museum because our family reunion was being held there. We had no expectations, but what a great surprise! This museum is a gem! My 8 year old loved the intricate model trains that went through the areas of Mississippi. The amazing array of antique farm equipment certainly gave us an appreciation for our modern conveniences. We... More

I absolutely love this place! When you walk in you feel like you have traveled to another time period. Very interesting exhibits. This is the #1 place I would recommend visiting if in Jackson.

Attended a reunion at this location. It was spacious and adequate for what we required. The outdoor area was good for the kids and games and we all enjoyed walking thru the various museums.

This was an interesting enough place with lots to see. Sad to hear that a fire claimed three of its buildings including the children's barn in 2014 and they haven't been rebuilt. I'm glad to hear they are planning on it though. It was well worth the money to visit this museum.
