Every time I pass or visit this statue I am reminded of my childhood summers/weekends spent at the downtown Gulfport public library! I am so happy that although the library is long gone that they have still kept this monument! Great Gulfport history and heritage...More

So wonderful statue for the founder of the city of Gulfport and the man who helped it really get on its way a nice little history of him and things he's done. at the corner of Highway 90 and 21st ave.
