Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

"Good for Groping Teenage Girls in the crowd, bad for Vaping"

We went to see the Pixies. My kids were in the crowd out front. One kid's friend was groped by an older guy in the crowd. She went to tell Security. The security guy spoke to the guy, the guy went back in the crowd and kept groping young women.

A second bloke who vaped in the crowd got pulled out and kicked out straight away.

While the Pixies were fantastic, the fact that Sexual Assault wasn't dealt with appropriately leaves me fuming!

First visit to the Thebby - certainly won't be our last! Wonderful building inside and out with very passionate and enthusiastic staff who seem to be well versed in the theatre's history and rightly proud of it. Came to see the Proclaimers in concert. So much nicer to experience live music in an intimate venue - our last concert was Taylor Swift at the Marvel Stadium at the very other end of the scale! I know which venue I prefer. We were in row XX right next to the sound and lighting guys. Whilst the main stalls are all on one level this row (one of three) is tiered which affords a great view and yet still space for dancing! Had a drink in one of the cozy bars prior to the concert. The lounge area looks great too, with wide seats for two. Plenty of options for free parking on surrounding streets. All in all a great night out and we will be back

So, I love the 'Thebby' theatre. However, having booked my tickets for 'Lounge' seating with my lovely wife and I, we were relegated to different albeit adjacent lounges. The WHOLE point of booking a 'Lounge' is to sit TOGETHER. This seemed like an alien concept to the usher who gave me the "this is the way it is" speech. WTF? No mention of this upon purchase of said tickets. Not happy Jan!!!
Beware of this unless you are actually looking for marital separation earlier than expected.

We went for the Rob Brydon concert. The venue was very busy but they seemed to manage everything very well. Old style theatre decor but this place is used for all sorts of music concerts and other shows. Pre concert bar, in two locations not too much seating but plenty of standing ledges.

Had the chance to see Gary Clark Jr play here and what an amazing night. Brilliant sound, great venue and the staff were very helpful. Met some lovely people (Handley) running the food van, who couldn't have been more helpful on where to go and eat/drink. Highly recommend see you favourite artist play here if you get the chance.

Went to see stand up comedian. Arrived in plenty of time to use bar and toilets greeted by staff at door directing us through.
