The permanent collections are extraordinary! When you visit the museum you MUST ask for Cheryl Taylor-Thornhill. As Executive Director she has taken the museum to a new level...almost a "rebirth". She is a wealth of knowledge and great company!

The cost was ten dollars, interesting history about the place and people of Greenwood and the neighboring towns, variety of displays. Excellent service by the staff. I was very pleased considering the size of the place and the renovations happening right now.

The Museum of the Mississippi Delta is a nice local museum. It seems to be undergoing some reorganization because many of the exhibits were still in very poorly described and aging cases. It was a little hard to grasp what they were trying to tell...More
