After visiting Shiloh Battlefield, we spent time at the Civil War Interpretive Center. We have visited many museums, visitor centers and battlefield and this Interpretive Center captures many moments in time, many stories, short informative sections that reveal a great deal of information. Corinth, Mississippi was the crossroad of the Memphis and Charleston and the Mobile and Ohio Railroads. The Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center is a federally run museum that does an excellent job of explaining why Corinth was so important to the South in the Civil...More

Great centre for the commemoration of the see-sawing Battles for Corinth in 1862. Super impressed with the painstaking work put into the displays, the intro film and the happy chappy on the front desk. A real credit to the National Parks Service. If you get...More

We visited here before heading to Shiloh because we were staying in Corinth for the night. Spend an hour or two here first before heading north to the Shiloh military park in Tennessee. The movie at the visitor's center is excellent--don't miss it. This park...More

Very informative and interesting exhibit with films and recreated displays. Some original letters, artifacts such as weapons, and a desk that was used during the war and carried to multiple battles. Plan to spend a least 2 to 4 hours to see.
