Come here every year and always find something new. For the true afficionado of music, this is a treasure trove of books, cd's , records of any form. Even better at the Juke Joint Festival when they host a variety of performances from local musicians.

We followed the Tripadvisor crowd to Cathead to help prioritize our time in Clarksdale. We are not the Blues mega-afficionatos that many visitors are, but we wanted to learn, and they were friendly and informative.

Incredible book store/CD store with everything imaginable regarding the Blues music! A person could spend hours browsing, learning, just enjoying the amazing array of Blues history and written and visual illustration of the musicians and their stories. Thanks

The owner knows his stuff and is a font of information. He steered us to lots of good music and we purchased fabulous music CDs which accompanied us on our trip.
