Available, pleasant and patient. I thank coach Rodrigo for his professionalism, patience, attention and the wealth of details to teach me how to snowboard. In two days I was able to learn a lot and I am very happy for the experience that you gave me. amazing! Thank u so much.

We used Ben & Joes during Feb 2019 break for our 2 sons. We described the abilities and limitations of our sons to Gregor and he specifically and perfectly matched them with their instructors. Khalil and Pavle were AWESOME! Both of our sons LOVED it! Our oldest had been skiing before and Pavle definately helped him progress. Our youngest has Aspergers and Khalil was so patient and kind that our son said on the first day that he loved his ski instructor! By the end of the week he was skiing quite well. This way exeeded our expectations and we are so thankful to both of them. We will definately use them again!!!!!

I recently had a snb lesson with Gregor at Mt Buller in Aus, and he had a really great way of explaining things to help me break my habits. I love getting a lesson first day of snowboarding so you can get the most out of your trip. Thanks Gregor!!

We had the opportunity to have 2 days of private lessons with Andrea for all the family (2 adults and 2 kids). She has been very patient and nice with the family and we enjoyed very much learning with her. Always with a smile and a can do attitude even when the kids started to be tired and started to complain she was managing them in an excellent manner so that they continued learning and playing.
When coming back to Davos the school and Andrea will definitively be our first option.
Thanks!!

We visited Davos from 27 Dec '17 to 3 Jan '18. Two families with two and three young children each, some of whom had no prior skiing experience. We were faced with the challenge of finding a ski school that could cater to a wide range of skiers.

From the moment we first contacted Ben & Joe's they were extremely professional. Gregor was able to set up three different instructors, over different days and timeframes, to suit everybody's schedule. The beginners had Khalil, the intermediates Andrea, whilst the more experienced in the group went off with Koni. My daredevil wife also went on a full day of off-piste with Wim. All of them were excellent: knowledgeable, helpful, dedicated and, more importantly, great fun. Kids and adults alike learned a great deal and enjoyed their time in the snow immensely.

We would thoroughly recommend Ben & Joe's and their fantastic crew to anyone visiting the Davos/Klosters region.

Went for a first timer snowboard lesson with Gregor and was extremely disappointed. I did a full morning private session (8:30-12:00). Gregor is very friendly and kind, but was impatient and unclear which killed my confidence on the slopes. The lesson was mostly theory (75%), limited practice (25%) with multiple phone calls breaks - would’ve preferred a more balanced mix (50/50?). As a former athlete, I believe we spent too much time talking/theorizing > getting on the board. I would say it was under 25 mins of actual snowboarding and most (4) of the runs (6) came from the middle of the slope (super short). Sincerely the lesson did not meet my expectations, I got very little value out of it (considering how expensive these lessons are) - would not recommend for first time snowboarders. You can get the same experience/lesson on youtube for free!

I took x3 morning lessons with the skiing instructor Nick (9am-12 noon). For someone who hasn’t skied in over 8 years Nicks patience and ability to read how well your getting on to be able to challenge you but not ever do it was excellent.

His personality and charisma will make any student of his at ease. A friendly and motivated person (also speaks three languages I believe, English, Dutch and German).

We arranged to meet at the ski shops prior to getting onto the slopes and nicks punctuality every morning and ability to adapt to starting times was great I.e 7am/8am/9am.

We started on the basic learning slopes and re-learned techniques, how to position skies and gained a fundamental understanding of stopping and starting.

By the end of the first day Nick took myself up to the blue slopes. We managed a good few runs of the slopes, a few bumps, trips and falls later. Nick analyses the good and the bad and positively encourages you to make the right moves.

Once I had got ahold of the instructions it made the advanced slopes (red and eventually black) manageable by the third lesson.

If you’re on the edge of booking a lesson or independently going on the slopes, there is only one winner... book Nick, you will not regret it!

Had so much fun during my snb lessons with Gregor from Ben and Joe's this week and really it made all the difference to my confidence back on the board.

Having reached out for a refresher session of all the do's and dont's following a snowboard injury a few years back, Gregor was really attentive and tailored the sessions to my needs to get me back up to speed as fast as possible (literally as well as metaphorically:)

He shared lots of no nonsense, practical tips I can focus on beyond the sessions to make sure my riding is solid going forward, and the second afternoon of my tuition was topped with an unreal day of off piste riding in the sun.

Couldn't recommend B&J more if you're looking for a really fun, effective way to improve your riding, whatever your level.

Thank you:)

I did 2 full days of snowboarding lessons with Gregor. It was a great experience. I actually expected to be on the ground a lot more, but by the end of the 2nd day I was able to do the run entirely on my own.

Gregor was patient and next to me whenever I needed him. He explained the concepts clearly and it was very easy to understand what I needed to do, and knew when to let me go on my own, when to provide verbal cues, and when to step in and help.

On the 2nd day, there was a storm on the top of the hill, but he still braved the elements with me, and it was well worth it. Even when visibility dropped and wind picked up, he kept at it with me to help me improve.

It was a great experience. I'll be back this season for a follow-up lesson, and will also have my wife do some lessons as she would be a first-timer, as well.

Hey James Thank you so much for your review. The two days sure had an adventures element in them didn't they! Well, if you can learn to snowboard in a blizzard you will be well equipped for those bluebird days. Very much looking forward riding with you again and taking you to the next level. Thanks again Gregor
