Big open building with lots of natural light and scenic vistas. Collection attractively displayed. Tons of local history, local maritime history, and artifacts to back it all up: full-sized boats, even! One gripe: Not all of the exhibits made sense to me. For example, there's a huge shrimp shelling machine, accompanied by a video about how it was developed. Between... More

Excellent experience. Nice relaxing cruise, $30.00 for the evening. You can bring drinks and food with you. The crew was friendly and helpful. You need to watch for this though, they don't have one everyday.

We went to the Wooden Boat show today and had a wonderful time. The exhibit was on the beach in Biloxi in front of the Biloxi Yacht Club. Walking alone the pier we saw all kinds of antique boats and yachts including one of the Biloxi schooners. After having a nice lunch of fried shrimp there on the pier we... More

What a wonderful experience! After using the motor to get out a ways, up went the sails, off went the motor and we sailed. You can bring drinks and food and just enjoy the sounds of sailing.......and oh yeah, watch the spectacular sunset over Gulfport. Worth every penny!

You are in for a real neat experience on this trip. The schooner has been carefully restored and is beautiful. The Captain and Crew did a nice job on our two hour adventure. We spent a little over an hour under sail which was really peaceful and quiet. A couple of tips, you can bring your own drinks and snacks,... More

This museum is very new and is both an upgrade and replacement to the previous museum destroyed by the hurricane Katrina some 10 years ago. There are paintings, pictures, a real completely restored famous racing sailboat. There are other real items used in the seafood canning process which was a significant boost to the local economy for nearly 50 years.... More

We enjoyed a sunset ride on the schooner. We had a calm night so not much sail action. Be sure to bring your own party unless you only want a quiet two hours on the water. I would recommend bringing snacks and drinks and a fun group to entertain if you want more than that. Museum tour was very educational.... More
