We visted pn February 14th. There is some fantastic past Mardi Gras costumes. It's apparent that a significant amount of time and effort went into the sewing of thede fabulous garments. We purchased a few souvenirs as they had good prices. The attendant was very professional and knowledgeable about the local celebrations. Tour is easy and didn't take it lot... More

This is a tiny museum in a corner of the historic Magnolia Hotel. The mardi gras history is limited, but the costumes are fantastic. There's a tiny gift shop too. Easy parking.

I was there the day before Fat Tuesday, so most of the displays were Mardi Gras King and Queen costumes. How elaborate they are! And some of those headpieces must weigh a ton!

If you've never been to Mardi Gras, you'll get a good taste of the costumes here. It's a quick free stop and worth it to see the glitz!

This was a very quick and informative stop. The costumes are outrageous in a great way and so fun and colorful. The staff were very nice and we loved our visit and the gun pictures we took with costumes. Lots of info to read about History and Mardi Gras. It is free and air conditioned too. It based in the... We stopped by and since the exhibits are still being worked on, they let us in without any charge. There is not a lot here as compared to the Mardi Gras museum in New Orleans, but they did have a few beautiful costumes you can see up close. The two ladies working that day, March 30, were so friendly and... More
