We enjoyed the tour of Beauvoir. The guide was knowledgeable and the house was stunning. It has stood through countless storms and still standing. They really knew how to build them back then!

We could see why it got its name. Very interesting and a nice tour. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch waiting for our tour to start. I could just imagine what it must have been like before the highway went thru.

Yes, the library and museum are restored. You can tour those two free. We paid to tour the house and grounds and thoroughly enjoyed it. As for a zoo...I don't recall a zoo being near by.
