This place is great, view is stunning, very quiet. It was the almost the only green place in Tuscany in October. What is really important is to select the right road. We chose the wrong one and there were so many turns, that we almost...More

Really loved this place! The one regret I have is that we did not plan the visit to experience the Gregorian mass on Sunday. Very much worth the time to experience this beautiful place!

Enjoyable experience. Be a pilgrim, report history and enjoy this great place to visit in Tuscany. Superior video tour.

This simple Abbey has something special about it that draws you in and caused us to spend some time admiring it and its surroundings.

Walk fro Montalcino ok but views not that great. Worth it for the exercise and the bus back is convenient.

I chose Montalcino because of the Brunello wine. You can see endless grape vines hanging low with grapes and experience beautiful views in & out of town. It’s definitely worth a stop!

Beautiful Abbey made of onyx which gives the building an special “glitter”. You get beautiful Tuscan views from this point.

I am using this topic to post a general review of Montalcino. When approaching Montalcino, the traveller gets a spectacular view of an ancient village on a hilltop. A walk through the inside of the city walls is also very nice. However, if it comes...More
