This is a must see in the area. One of the oldest working abbeys in Italy, if not the oldest. The grounds and the structures are impressive. Not sure if they still do the singing due to a change of the orders who live there....More

This place on the pilgrims route is worth seeing. It has a real sense of history. Pilgrims are still walking the route to the abbey some 700 years after it was built.

Set in a gorgeous landscape, beautiful garden and very peaceful. We loved the beer that we bought there and some honey. It is not far from Montelcino and it's worth the drive.

Set in a beautiful Tuscan landscape surrounded by wineries on the hills. The views are serene and beautiful. The monks are scheduled to return in July 2017 so we did not hear the hyms.

Hi! There are recordings of gregorian chants being played. It may not be live, but the cathedral is so large and provides the echoes that would give the impression of live singing. It was a worshipful, lovely experience... More
