Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I don't come here much anymore largely as it isn't as good as other cinema options but they had a decent ticket price offer on a movie I wanted to see.

We bought online tickets but surprisingly we still had to queue to redeem them for actual tickets? Why bother to book online? I could have just saved money by buying the same tickets and queuing anyway.

The movie theatre was small but ok but the state of the ceiling and surrounds were filthy with drink stains and food remnants on the walls and curtains. Yuk.

What really annoyed me though was a stain prevalent mark on the screen. It was distracting all of the movie as it was about 1/3 to the centre of the screen and always in the picture. Very annoying.

At any rate, I doubt I will come back as when you pay to watch a movie you are there for the experience. By the way, most of what I am taking about relates to simple maintenance and not refurbishment. Although they should seriously consider it as it is very tired and in need of it.

We visited here twice recently and havent been for a while. Definitely needs refreshing, couldnt believe the state of the seats, thankfully ones we booked were ok and looking around our cinema there were alot of damaged seats. Sorry but when you pay for a movie you wouldnt expect to be this uncomfortable. On a positive note cinema was clean with excellent service

A typical cinema from what I see, nothing special, just looks like the same as one I visited at another location.
Staff were friendly.
Cinema's were small, which is good, however I don't like to be told where to sit. I want to sit myself when I get into the cinema.

I took my grandchildren to see Elemental the seats they gave has something brown maybe chocolate or worse, I had to go back out and get reassigned seats but I was told they would block those seats off but to my amazement they gave someone else those seats. The ppl stood there for a while discussing it and then went back out. The place is dark and dingy needs and upgrade and there is no gold class in this theatre very disappointing. I was told they were at 80 percent capacity in the theatre but looking around when the movie started there was a lot of seats no way was it 80 percent hence the reason they told me i had to take tickets in the front row, Did they do this to me because I complained about crap on the seat? I wont be going back to that one.

So, basically on 25th Saturday August 2018

Frds and myself booked my tickets for Crazy Rich Asians @6:15pm
(I HAD BOOKED THIS LIKE AGES BACK)

So, the employee serving us was so rude - went to ticket desk scanned my ticket and was deciding what to get when he was like “ ARE U GONNA BUY ANYTHING CUZ I CAN’T wait need move line” was not even 30 sec to think.

He was tall guy, abit fat

Anyways then went to the cinmea, 1 full row in middle cinema 2 was booked for my frds n me.

I got here, all seats been taken by someone random. I went to get help from staff a young guy - came to help. He went to the people and asked them to move they said no. He comes to be like I cannot more them u need seat like down. Was like I paid online booking fees n booked like 2 weeks for this?
He like can’t do anything. I give u refund

This is not how u treat ur customers and problems. I am customer manager and I know how can solve problems.

This surely not the way...

Came in today. 2nd September cuz my little cousin wanted watch a movie.

I got ABUSED BY A STAFF!! Seriously

The toilets are discusting always broken in some way and never well kept. Tickets are some of the most expensive in perth. Paid 5.60 for a small bottle of water. Used to go here all the time. Try reading in belmont tickets are $11 and the snacks very reasonable comparible seats and no need to line up in two seperate lines for tickets and snacks all in the one spot at reading. Who ever thought of self service at twice the price at event should have their marketing qualification revoked (or I would suggest they don't have one). Business basics are missing at event I'm amazed they are still in business. Their gold lounge is very nice have been there. If your prepared to sink some money its the only way I would ever go back.

This used to be the premier cinema in the northern suburbs but it has become tired.

It really needs some money spent on it. The last time I was there a lot of the seats were broken and generally cinemas were shabby. The seats are too close together and the issue of having to sit in designated seating is painful.

Needs a facelift.
