My wife and I visited this museum, and really came away with respect for the way these people lived. Great place to visit and lots of detail provided by the museum people.

this was informative and very laid-back. The house was amazing, along with the stories. Good for those first coming to Stillwater to get to know about the area.

The tour was really interesting. I stayed on for a lecture after. It was a perfect day to visit. I would come back again. Plus rumor has it...it's haunted!!!

Toured the museum with my three children. The tour guide was fantastic! We learned many new things and the tour was very entertaining. One of my children is a history buff, but the other two not so much. The tour guide did a great job of presenting the museum's exhibits in a way that had all of the kids interested.... More

This is a small museum, but well worth the visit. Portions of the exterior walls of the jail are still present. The exhibits are very interesting, and we enjoyed the time spent there very much.

I did this for the first time last weekend. What a bargain! It is only $1 for students and $5 for adults. We had a great tour guide (younger man in his 20s or 30s) and he did a wonderful job explaining the artifacts from the time period. They have a whole room full of lumberjack tools and the guide... You'll get not so much a history of the Warden's House, but of the village of Stillwater its people (including the wardens), and its industry. Very inexpensive for a tour ($1 for students) and the volunteer tour guides care about what they're telling you. Lots of cool artifacts to be seen inside as well!
