About
Tin Whiskers is the perfect place to be for the beer nerds and non-nerds alike. We bring our electrical engineering backgrounds into our brewery from our beer names, listing our ingredients and aspects of the brewing process, branding, circuit board flight holders and how we create new beers. For the thirsty, we will have seasonal offerings, year-round beers, and prototyped small batch recipes at our taproom. Come in and enjoy a pint or a flight of our beers on our circuit board flight holders. You can enjoy our beers at our taproom, in numerous bars throughout the Twin Cities or at home with a crowler. Tin Whiskers Brewing Company has a home in St. Paul in the historic Rossmor building. You can find us in our gorgeous space at 125 E 9th St, St. Paul, Minnesota, 55101.

Waste of time

If you are planning a fun afternoon of drinking beer, do not come here! No flights of beer served, no samples of beer given, no cash accepted, and I believe because of all this no one was there on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon. Staff explained that due to Covid they were not doing flights or samples. I call that lazy, uncreative, and poor customer service. Staff went on to say that serving beer samples in small plastic portion cups was not cost effective. I guess they have never shopped at Sams Club or Costco and are OK with having no customers to serve. Not sure how they stay open other than revenue received from the people willing to drive up to purchase a growler or crowler. Do not count on me ever coming back or recommending your brewery to friends. Sorry! You blew it!!

Good use of space.

Tin Whiskers is small craft brewery making great use of a small space. The shinny stuff is right behind the bar. Makes you feel like your drinking in the brewery. They are canning and distributing to local liquor stores, but not sure how they are doing that with the space they have. Beer is good (not great) but still worth a visit.

Best brewery in the area!
Aug. 2019 • Couples
We discovered Tin Whiskers a couple of years ago on a visit to St. Paul and were excited to be going back. The beer and service are fabulous. There is a lot of variety in the beer so everyone should be able to find something they would like. The atmosphere is great too. Definitely our favorite in that area!

Haven't had a beer from here I didn't like

The tap room is small and lacks a patio with breath taking vistas. But it's a brewery that brews fantastic beer! So go and check it out! It's on my top 3 St. Paul brewery list.

Great Find!

We came across this place while we were bouncing around brewery to brewery on a recent work trip to Minneapolis. Although I had never heard of it, we thought we would check it out, and we were pleasantly surprised. We bellied up to the bar and ordered a couple of tasting flights that encompassed everything that they offered on draft. The service was good, the beer was good and it was a fun and inviting place.

I live this St Paul Brewery. Their basic brews are amazing, but their seasonal are even better. Follow them on Facebook to keep up with the seasonal brews. We came here for St Patrick's Day, tried all the brews and loved them all. Irish Cream Stout was one of the best beers I've had. While you're here, get a pizza from Black Sheep!

Pumpkin 🎃 beer
Oct. 2017 • Friends
A 95+ day seemed to be a great idea to enjoy a pumpkin beer 🍺. This brew pub is located right downtown Saint Paul. They have a food truck or you can order from the Black Sheep pizza 🍕 restaurant nearby to deliver. They have an excellent selection of beers on tap. Great staff, board games and comfortable atmosphere.

Friendly service and unique beer
Jul. 2018 • Couples
I was impressed with their friendly service. However, I was bummed that they didn’t have stickers. I actually saw their robot sticker in a bathroom over a year ago and that was the reason I wanted to visit the brewery. I wanted a cute robot sticker for myself because I loved it. So, please person-in-charge-of-stickers, get more stickers so you can have more free advertising. Back to the review of the place: it’s very industrial and clean and the beer is top-notch. They are so unique. I loved the dill pickle.

Innocence project of MN
Jul. 2018 • Couples
The Innocence Project of MN was the beneficiary of an evening of Pints for a Purpose. Aside from the fact that the funds were going to a cause we support the beer was excellent that we had on tap and then we took home a couple of bottles as well. It was nice to have a choice of ~1 liter bottles instead of just growlers. The only thing that could have improved the experience would have been food. I understand there are several pleased that deliver there but we didn’t stay long enough to experience it.

Typical industrial chic micro. No food. Friendly service. I personally resent the stupid proclamation on the door that guns are banned like that will do anything to keep violent people with bad intent at bay. Asinine. And if I weren’t a tourist I would’ve spent my money elsewhere. But it’s their choice and mine not to patronize them.
My wife had a lingonberry ale which was terrific. I had an ipa which was unremarkable. Many other breweries to sample and I wouldn’t go back to this one.
