Grand Avenue has to be part of a visit to St. Paul. I am originally from Minneapolis but it has nothing remotely similar to Grand Avenue St. Paul. On the west end are several private college campuses and a wonderful art supply store, Wet Paint,...More

We visited this area recently, after not having been there for some time. It remains an interesting area with some unusual shops and restaurants.

We came across this area because of a recommendation to eat at Punch Pizza. The shopping is great and tons of different restaurants to pick from. If I lived in the Minneapolis area I would love to live in this part of town.

Love hanging out down on Grand ave on warm, nice summer weekends. We go to Billys for a coctail and lunch or dinner, then stroll on down to Salut for a Mojito or two! There is shopping, resturants, music, people watching....

Great place for shopping & dining. Cool little neighbourhood. A variety of restaurants and shops like the Pottery Barn, Pensey's Spices, Pier One.

I would recommend driving the full length of Grand Avenue to see what there is. There is not a lot of ample parking, so would suggest parking at the only garage that I saw around over the Pottery Barn store and across from other shops....More

Other than walking around and window shopping there is not that much over here. Love look at the old houses on the way though. One place I would advise to try their desserts will be Caffee Latte - Sooooo Good

Stop at Caffe latte and grab a scone to go as you window shop your way down Grand. It is quite lovely but also quite pricey. Also, it is close to a younger college crowd, so be prepared for lots of "hipsters."
