We, husband and I wandered, shopped and ate with 2 grown daughters and future son-in-law Black Friday. Parking was easy, not crowded, ate at Cafe Latte, very tasty but not well set up for smooth flow. Enjoyed Mischief store, fun games, markers. Bought good smelling things at Garden of Eden, found just what was needed for wedding table seating place... More

There are several quaint lunch spots, with quality food. Street side holiday decorations were tastfully done.

Cute shops and yummy restaurants. Find a place to park and enjoy a coffee, lunch or dessert. Pop into some of the shops and treat yourself or buy gifts.

Love Grand Avenue; such unique shops. Great spot to go with the gals on a fall afternoon. Shops you don't have anywhere else and also great little cafes. etc. A must do.

Plenty to do for an afternoon or early evening (many shops close at 5 or 6). We visited Penzey's Spices and ate at Salut Bar Americain (French), but there are dozens of chain and independent shops and restaurants to keep you entertained.

This is St. Paul's version of the trendy uptown area of Minneapolis. Lots of neat and locally-owned shops. Very few if any chains. Good selection of restaurants between Lexington Avenue and Dale Street. Numerous places have excellent happy hours, wide variety of local beer selections, and full-service bars. The place to go for dessert is Cafe Latte. Worth spending an... More

So much to do on Grand Ave if you like shopping and trying new restaurants you'll enjoy Grand Ave. Love Grand Old Day every year. Worth checking out if you just want to stroll the streets and shop.
