Want an enriching experience? Head to Como Zoo! It's a great place for families & a nice place to escape the winter blues due to all the magnificent flowers & tropical plants throughout. The animals are unique & interactive. It's hours of fun for all! Did I mention it is a free facility, but they are always accepting donations.

Coming here in February is not the optimal time to be at the zoo and we arrived only 1/2 hour before closing. But the entrance is donation based, so worth it for a short visit. We saw the polar bear and giraffes (momma and baby appropriately named Prince). Grounds are pretty. Didn't get to the conservatory but will be back... More

This "Zoo" is incredibly sad. We came here with friends from out of state. I was personally appalled at the condition of most of the animal enclosures. A snow leopard was in a room small enough to only take 6 steps across. The polar bears were pacing and swaying their heads in clear signs of distress and discomfort. There were... More

Great place to come in winter - smells so good and it's so warm! Very pretty. Easy parking. Suggested donation is $3 so bring some singles

Great soo for the money, it is free to get in but there's a recommended donation of 5 dollars each We went during heavy snow so only the indoor enclosures had active critters about, even a sloth. Still a good time. The conservatory is ok although probably not great if you're into horticulture.

The Conservatory is a warm winter retreat with the fragrances of tropical flowers. But while you're in the area, take a walk around the park. Walk across the street to the gazebo overlooking the frog pond. Most of the year, the flowers and shrubs will inspire the gardener in you. There's history (and geocaches, even in winter!) to be discovered... More

I love going to Como Zoo because there are a lot of things to see and do and it has a beautiful garden. The conservatory side is gorgeous and it smells lovely. Walking into the zoo part definitely makes the good smell you just had go to a, oh yeah, I'm at the zoo feel haha but who doesn't love... More

The Conservatory is a fantastic place to visit all year long. Us locals use it for a place to go from winter to the tropics in seconds. In the summer it has the Zoo, picnic grounds, lake and pavilion where you can rent bikes, paddle boards and canoes. There is even a golf course there. Great place to visit for... More

When the orchid show visits the conservatory, don't miss it. All the plants are gorgeous and the entire atmosphere is wonderful.

Even though I've lived here all my life, I had never been to the conservatory before. It's not large, but the plants are beautiful and a nice break from the winter weather. My favorite area was the sunken garden.
