Back when I was a senior in High School, our drama department took a trip to the Park Square Theatre to watch "The Color Purple" as well as attend an acting workshop. I couldn't have been more impressed with the instruction, location, or performances done....More

The Park square theater consistently delivers riveting theater which is varied in style and content, and consistently connects difficult social issues with the audience. Well, it is not always serious, as they also have a repertoire of musicals and comedies which are also consistently excellent....More

Director Joel Sass adaptation of Hamlet runs a brisk 2 hours but does not lose a thing that makes this play great. Kory Pullam shines as Hamlet thanks to the great support of the other 8 actors. I especially liked Tinne Rosenmeier in the role...More

We have never been disappointed by any of the plays both on the main stage or the more avant garde Boss stage in the basement. The artistic director has made a point of varying the content- light musical, serious drama, comedy so you can easily...More

We saw Might as Well be Dead at the Park Square Theatre. The theatre is small and very intimate. Not a bad seat in the place. Great production of a Nero Wolfe play. Enjoyed it very much!

This is a good theater to see some good plays, the price is reasonable, and it's close to quite a few restaurants.

The Twin Cities is very fortunate that we have a great many live theatre offerings, many of which are community based. There is a wealth of actors who are members of Actors Equity, who live in the area and appear regularly in Park Square productions....More

I always enjoy the plays I attend at Park Square Theatre. I have had season tickets for over 15 years at the main, procenium upstairs theatre. Last year they added a more informal theatre in the round downstairs for more intimate plays.
