You have to be an old curmudgeon not to enjoy a stroll, drive or Segway through this tree-lined street with fine old mansions of various designs on both sides of the street. There has been little traffic on the wide road that is Summit Ave,...More

Definitely worth a drive to see this collection of spectacular homes! I just wish there was less traffic so we could have driven slower. It might be worth walking so you can really enjoy all the details in these grand mansions.

Just a huge busy traffic jammed street that slices through St. Paul there are some mansions but they aren't on a nice quiet street.

We drove up and down to see all the beautiful houses. it was a pleasant drive, no traffic, and from the sold signs it's popular place to buy.

90 minute tour has excellent stories and pictures of residents and homes past and present. Great glimpse into the movers and shakers that built the territory and state of Minnesota.

On a warm summer day stroll, cycle, or drive the length of Summit Ave. St. Paul. At the east end you have the St. Paul Cathedral, JJ Hill house, and Garrison Keillor's residence. As you go west you pass historical mansions, including the Governor's residence....More
