We stopped in to check out this park and were pleased to find north woods wilderness still exists. We hiked the bog walk and the dam area. The lake was beautiful and unspoiled by humans. By the way- there were wild raspberries and blueberries to...More

The cabin at camp 3 here is wonderful. It's down a dirt road about a mile from the showers and everyone else. Completely secluded. The cabin is simple with two bunk beds, a table and benches, and a screen porch. No electricity. Vault toilet nearby....More

This little park doesn't have very private campgrounds. There isn't a lot of space seperating campsites. The dam is cool and the trails through the woods are secluded. Overall there isn't a lot to see here. It seems like a great lake to bring a...More

Great little state park. Hiked a few trails and of course over the dam but when we got to the forested area, we were swarmed by the mosquito's, but that was because it was early in the morning. Saw a few deer and lots of...More

We used to live a few miles from this park and loved to visit weekly. The park will need a state tag to visit but they are very reasonable (approx 30 for a year or 6-7 for a day/weekend pass). Boats are only allowed trolling...More
