Only got to visit for about 30 minutes. But it was a very local fun spot. We were looking for a brewery on our route to Badlands and we ended up at Forager. That was more of a restaurant so we were recommended to go to Kinney Creek. Didn't regret it! They had awesome games there as well.

This was a very pleasant stop. We tried two different brews rather than getting the sampler that we would have normally done. Both were not quite exceptional, but VERY close. The barstaff was wonderful and made this a fun experience. The one downside was that they had a lot of hoppy beers, but not much on the malt side. I... More

Variety of things to do for kids to adults. Great staff. Strong beers for sure. Lots of room to enjoy company as well as craft beers.

We were looking for something to do in the area, found this place from trip advisor. We were not dissapointed. We got a flight of beers to try out different kinds. It was a quiet afternoon, and the bartender gave us an impromptu tour of the area where they make the beer . Place looks like nothing from the outside,... More

I stayed in Rochester for 4 days and came to this place to enjoy local craft beers on 3 of those nights. Very friendly and personable bar tender. IPAs and stouts were both top notch. Love the oil cans they sell to take home. Highly recommend this place.

All the beers we sampled in our flights were dark beers. Delicious! Our favorite was the bourbon barrel aged Darca-doo Imperial Stout. The owner/brewmaster was there and gave us a short tour and talked beer making with us for some time. The Darca-doo is my favorite beer so far on this beer vacation.

Nice place, good atmosphere, friendly staff (and patrons), and really good beer. Definitely worth a visit if you like craft beers and are in the Rochester area.

Quiet for a Friday mid-afternoon, but received a good history from the owner about development of the brewery, laws and ordinances to overcome, and the establishment of newer Rochester breweries. We sampled a flight of 4 for $6. Favorite beer was an IPA -Tessellation. Visitors can bring home a growler or 750 ml can. Wood-fired pizza truck parked outside; it... More

Not sure how this place stays open. We tried it twice about a year apart. Beer tastes bad both times. Seems like the Brewer is not quite sure what they are doing.
