Assisi Heights advertises in all the local visitor's guides. They especially tout their honey. We decided to go purchase a jar as a "thank you" to the person who took care of our cat while we were gone. We arrived at Assisi Heights at 2pm...More

We called ahead for a tour. The sister that was our guide was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about the history, present-day activities, the art, the furnishings, etc. We were very appreciative.

We saw deer, turkeys and beautifully kept grounds. Grab a sack lunch and sit on the grounds over looking the city. Buildings and church are marvelous.

I believe this is the highest point in Rochester if I'm not mistaken. None the less, it's beautiful from up on the grounds. We did not take the tour. We just stopped to take in the breathtaking view.

Not a lot to see for a tourist but it does have a nice church and grounds to walk around. It is a retirement home for nuns.
