1.8 mile loop around a wetland that supports many birds. Multiple paths so you can make several laps and cover different trails. We noted many bird watchers with giant-lensed cameras. The floating board walk is fun when you are trying to maintain a steady gait.

On the way back from the post office I stopped here to walk. It is very nice and the floating boardwalk is fun. Its a great walk they have allot of rules. There are places to lock up a bike!

Beautiful in any season, but I must say experiencing the snow on the trail with the seclusion of a nature preserve is simply amazing!

I really enjoy going to a walk at Wood Lake Nature Center. It's simply beautiful, quiet, peaceful and scenery is perfect. The wood dock that connects the ponds is awesome and I like the little wild life. If it's hot you can stay walking on...More
