Not family friendly at all.... they really don’t want anyone there but will gladly take your entry fee... very disappointing.... just read all the brochures and walk around the buildings and peek inside... the tour isn’t worth it

Enjoyed the tour. Sad to hear the Historical Society did away with people dressed in costume and assuming a character. But it was a nice drive and our tour guide was full of fun and interesting information.

The Forestville tour was definitely not worth the time as an adult. It seemed much more appropriate for children. The tour also seemed quite short and areas of the house seemed to be under construction, so we really only walked through 3 rooms and then...More

This is a must see! The tour was very informative & seeing the home and the store just like it was back in the day was amazing. We could of spent a lot more time just looking at all the goods in the store.

We were excited to step back in time, 1899 on this occasion. First time I’ve heard the Declaration of Independence orated in full. Despite oppressive heat, we managed to enjoy the ice cream, delicious hot dogs and pork sandwiches, old fashioned candy sticks, and watermelon....More

It is very beautiful to see how they have kept the history of Forestville going for generations to see. The actors who play some of the family members down there makes you feel like you have stepped back in time. It is not a big...More

We had a great time here!!! We attended an evening program over Labor Day and were able to learn the history of the town as well as partake in some dancing and even a suffragette meeting! Super fun, beautiful location!

We had a wonderful time walking through the town! The tour lasts 1 1/2 hours long. We were disappointed we didn't have enough time to enjoy the tour.
