The Mille Lacs Indian Museum and Trading Post includes a museum dedicated to telling the story of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe and an adjacent restored 1930s trading post where visitors can find American Indian gifts from Mille Lacs artisans. The museum is open April-October; the Trading Post store is open year round.

Learned a lot about Ojibwe culture here. The presentation in the Four Seasons room was very good, especially learning how wild rice was, and still is, harvested.

Excellent laid out museum. Spacious area and tour guide very informative. Superb historical documents and artifacts honoring Native American life and history. Activities at times for entire family.

There so much I did not know about the life of Northern American life.It is a Very though factual information for what was used as food and medicine, The four tee-pee styles for each season, Dance styles, beautiful clothing etc.... the lecturer was gets.
