its a magical place ... trees, birds, squirrels and wide open spaces mixed with intimate twisting trails. hike, stroll, XC ski, or just plop down and sketch or take in what the bugs, birds, and bees are doing around you.

This trail is handy for us to get out and exercise ourselves and our two dogs. There is a pleasant feel to the place and it is a well-kept trail. We enter from the east (back) side mainly so this might be the only review from that side.

This is a great place to come to get away from it all. We actually got a little turned around out on the trails, but managed to find our way back to the parking lot after we found a map! Wear bug spray! Since some of the trail is near the river, it can get buggy!

I've hiked this trail with my two labs many times over the years. They keep adding more land and turning fields into prairies and woodland along the Cannon River.

Walking around the Arb is a favorite past-time for locals as well as the Students and Staff. The grounds are beautiful and easy to traverse for a short or long walk.

A beautiful location chosen by a nephew for his wedding. Young people ove the outdoors and it is accessible by elders as well.

As another review here noted, the navigation is a bit confusing. I also think that some parts of the arboretum are getting a bit overgrown. There were plants so tall around the benches , the views across the pond were heavily obstructed. Nevertheless, the setting is very peaceful and lovely with the little bridges and islands across the pond. The... More

We were on a college visit and took a run on the miles of trails through woods and fields. Nice varied terrain and I imagine the cross-country trails in the winter are amazing!

It is not easy to navigate; even with a map. The trails are not well- marked and the only thing to tell you where you are going is if you stay on a paved trail. Pretty sightseeing though.
