We chose a walk on a quiet Friday evening. It was beautiful, and changed colors as the sun set. Lake of the Isles is the quietest of the 3 lakes in the chain. Quiet couples, a couple people fishing. We could see the downtown skyline...More

I like that it has a very different character than Calhoun or Harriet. Great house and people watching!

This lake is a little quieter than Calhoun or Harriet, very beautiful for walking or biking around. Visit summer or winter.

If you do not love crowds like Lake Calhoun has, then this is the lake for you. Less people, same beauty, lovely and tranquil.

While lake Calhoun and lake Harriet are my favorites, this was another lake both me and my husband enjoyed. A must if you enjoy being around a lake and see people. This place isn't crowded unlike Lake Calhoun and lake Harriet.

There's free parking around the whole lake. Usually no problem finding a spot and you can start anywhere around the lake.
