The new Bell Museum building does not disappoint. Beautiful architecture, beautifully sited. The exhibition spaces are well organized and display the iconic natural history dioramas brilliantly. There are activities and hands-on exhibits for all ages and interests. The planetarium offers informative programming to spark the...More

Parking is $4 and entry to the museum is expensive, especially when we were essentially done after 90 minutes. The exhibits upstairs require a lot of reading to appreciate them and my son was not interested in making the effort. He wanted to play the...More

Worth a visit for the incredible architecture alone! We enjoyed this museum. We have never been to the previous space so it was all new to us. We started at the top and went through a number of different exhibits. The favorite was the woolly...More

Our visit to the new Bell Museum was a disappointment in my opinion. We walked into the touch and feel room - it was filled with skulls and other bones - no titles or identifying information on the items. How frustrating to see shelves filled...More

This museum has a lot of exhibits and hands on activities to keep children entertained and engaged. Parking area is small, prices are decent and we really had a good time. Our kids really enjoyed to woolly mammoth on display.

I recommend a walk around the campus of one of the largest universities in the country along with an entertaining stop at the Bell Museum. While there please visit the universities memorial union and the art museum next to it.

This museum makes for a fun & educational rainy day outing with kids. It has diverse exhibits: wildlife in their natural habitat (sort of like screenshots of animals' lives) as well as exploration and hand-on touching of fossils & specimens

The Bell Museum is a beautiful old building with some incredible dioramas depicting Minnesota wildlife. Most of them were installed between the mid-20s and the 60s. Visiting the museum is like stepping back in time. The dark, musty smelling museum with its oak wood walls...More

We brought our one year old, and really enjoyed the vintage feel of this museum. The displays are very well done, as others have commented. We also enjoyed the overall aesthetic of a small well cared for property. Our favorites was the time lapse video...More
