This was a quick stop for us, just for something extra to see on our way to the Midtown Global Market. This house is beautiful! It's not open - it's a private home that is for sale. A neighbor out walking her dog mentioned it was all lit up for days after Mary Tyler Moore passed away.

The only thing you can do is drive by. Not open to public. Private residence. Does not look like the house from the show. Has been redone. What I liked the most is the surrounding neighborhood. Beautiful Homes.

This is a "Prop " house...a private residence There are no tours, no plaques..just a nice house in an upscale ' hood to drive by. Park the car, walk around Lake of the Isles and enjoy the beautiful Kenwood district.

This house is not open to the public. I had a real estate showing there. My Buyers were too young for the show. The minute I saw the porch, I knew where we were. Over the years, i have filmed two commercials on the porch. The third level looks just like the scene of Mary Tyler Moore's apartment. While I... More

It's still a beautiful home, presently on the market, in the gorgeous Kenwood neighborhood in Minneapolis--but bares only the slightest resemblance to "Mary's House." Visits in the house are not permitted, but a walk in the lovely neighborhood on a summer evening was very nice, too.

It is neat but you don't need to take a tour to see it. It is a private residence. It has changed very much. It isn't the same color or anything

There are no tours here and it doesn't look much like what was shown on TV. I wouldn't go out of my way to see this one.

We were on a bus tour of Minneapolis/St.Paul and this iconic landmark was on the tour. However our tour guide said this was the house they used on the MTM show. However there are no tours because it is not open to the public and privately owned Also Mary was supposed to live on the third floor in the series.... More

Hey, I am of a "certain age" ... I DO remember the television series that starred Mary Tyler Moore, her newspaper work and this Minneapolis house where she lived for so many episodes. The fact that this was NOT a stage set house...but actually a "still lived in family residence" in Minneapolis. Sadly it is "see-able" but not "visit-able"--- Mary... More

This is an attraction for Fans of the Mary Tyler Moore show. Not sure anyone else would appreciate seeing the house. You can just drive by. Unfortunately the house is for sale. Hopefully an appreciative family will buy this soon.
