We were in town for a conference, and one of our group of 4 wanted to have a drink at the top of the Foshay because a friend told her about it, so we stopped here today a little after 5pm - happy hour. You...More

Stopped by for a afternoon beverage after work and a bit of site seeing. See the city at sunset and relax. Ordered a favourite beverage. (It was mixed OK, glass too warm). Lo and behold the glass was covered in hard water spots. Clearly not...More

We really enjoyed the the atmosphere of the Prohibition Bar. Nice, relaxing, comfortable, and what a view of the Minneapolis skyline. The Foshay Tower use to be the tallest building in Minneapolis. Fun to visit a piece of history. The beverages are very nice but...More

What is a beautiful bar and with the right delivery could be a great experience. Unfortunately Prohibition delivered a disappointing visit. It really is a beautiful space with beautiful waitstaff to attend to your needs. Beyond that it was pretty apparent that the bar is...More

We enjoyed a cocktail here and you certainly pay for it, but it was very good, the atmosphere is wonderful and the view is worth it. It's something to experience and if you keep that in mind it is worth the pricy cocktail.

This bar/lounge was once the penthouse residence of the developer of the Foshay Tower at its highest occupied floor, so the place is a collection of spaces. Each offers a different view of the city. Service was attentive and friendly, drinks were excellent. A cool...More

A waiter from a local restaurant suggested a visit to Prohibition after dinner. The view was great, and the service attentive, but not overwhelming. Drinks in the $15 range. A mixed crowd of mixed dress. Glad to have checked it out.

Visited here 7/1/17 with another couple. Fantastic views of the city from the 27th floor. This place could easily be seen as pretentious and stuffy yet we did not catch that vibe at all. Walked right in & ordered cocktails after a dinner in the...More

I've stayed at the W Hotel - Minneapolis every single time I've visited for work. Each time I end up at Prohibition. It's typically quiet. Still a solid crowd, but usually a nice, relaxed feel. They have a great whiskey selection - that's all I...More

Our conference rented the space for a evening social, and it was packed, but the decor was amazing, and I wished I could be there when there were fewer people! Loved the experience. A real treasure in downtown Minneaplois.

We visited in the winter months so everyone was wearing long pants. It’s a nicer venue. I would say smart causal, or call and ask. It’s a great place to visit.
