They is too many chains there and not enough local businesses. It feels like a generic street anywhere.

The Nicollet Mall, a main mostly pedestrian area in downtown Minneapolis, is being updated and redesigned. For 2016 it is not worth seeing as it is under construction. I am not sure when it will be finished. You can still shop the stores and restaurants, but the Mall itself is not worth a visit at this time.

Came through here on the way to the Mall. The street is a nice stretch of Minneapolis near the shopping mall.

Nicollet Avenue has everything you could want - restaurants, pubs... even Target! It's a must for any Minneapolis visitor. Even if you don't intend to, you'll probably end up there anyway.

Criminals run rampant at night the cops are not allowed to stop them because of political correctness is very liberal city if you go .go during the day at least you have a fighting chance

Nicollet looks like it will be a fun place to shop and eat after they are finished with the construction. I really wanted to throw my hat up in the air and have my picture taken while doing that....but they must have removed her during the construction..If we are ever back, I'll try finding her again!

Lots of construction around, so it probably detracted from the beauty it would otherwise possess. The area is busy and very energetic, there are some shops, and lots of restaurants. I am not sure that it is any more special than any other downtown Mpls street.

There's some good restraunts, typical stores. There's something lot of construction going on and the Mary Tyler Moore statue has been removed to accommodate the constriction, but you can see some of the buildings from the show.

Ill break this into 3 areas; The Mall, Eat Street, and far South Minneapolis. 1. The Mall is downtown and a nice walk with the usual downtown stores. Average 2. Eat Street is the area south of 18th and has quite a few restaurants that are worth the trip 3. Far South (south of 62nd) dont bother
