Ken is the best! Oh my gosh, he is so accommodating. Knows his stuff and grew up in the area. You can’t go wrong if you go with River Rats rentals!

Beautiful scenery, well paved and maintained path. We even saw a truck on the path one day with a large leaf blower cleaning the leaves off the path. One of the top rails to trails path we have ever been on. Nice towns frequently spaced.

So beautiful! You must kayak this river. We covered 16 miles in 4.5 hours. Pack a lunch and plenty of water — Chances are good that you won’t capsize. (September, anyways.). I cannot even imagine how beautiful this will be when the leaves turn!!

We did a group Kayak trip down the Root River via the Little River General Store Outfitters. The river was a little higher than normal but we all enjoyed the "Fast and Fun" trip down the Root!!
